Why is it important that everyone knows how to swim, especially children?

Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury deaths for children ages 1 to 4.

How to know the level that corresponds to my child?

Our instructors can make a test to determinate the level that better fits your child according to past experiences, in addition to the information that you may provide to us.

All children under the age of 3 years or older who are not yet potty trained, must use a non-disposable/reusable swim diaper in their lesson. NO DISPOSABLE DIAPERS ARE ALLOWED IN OUR POOL. In AcquaWorld, the hygiene of our pool is very important.

Is it ok to feed my child before the lesson?

If it’s possible, try to feed your child 1 hour 1/2 before the lesson avoiding dairy products.

What happen if I’m late for the lesson?

Your lesson will begin immediately upon your arrival for the remaining time. There won’t be make-up if classes does not start on time.

What happen if I miss a lesson?

For group programs, you can make 1-class recovery per month. The recovery will take place during the same month of the lack and depends on the availability of day and timetable.
For private classes, you must cancel 24 hours in advance to avoid paying 100% of the class cost.
In the case of private programs, in order to guarantee the effectiveness of the classes, the child will not be able to miss more than 3 classes per month. In that case, you will have to give up your quota and be subject to new schedule availability.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
There is not reimbursement for programs or lessons paid.

What happens if my child is sick?

We understand children can get sick anytime. Please call our staff members to let us know your child won’t be able to attend to the lesson. When you are ready to reschedule your class, please provided proper documentation from your doctor to avoid payments for make-up.

What time should I arrive for the lesson?

5 to 10 minutes will be time enough to prepare your child before the scheduled lesson.

What happens if it is raining?

In AcquaWorld is sunny time the whole year around! However there could be time where weather conditions are extreme such a hurricane warnings. You can contact us in this case and we will let you know about the measure we’ll be taking in order to keep everybody safe. Also we can keep you updated about the situation by e-mail or text message.

Is there a registration fee?

Registration is only $50 and it will be charge once every year while you or your child is an AcquaWorld swimmer. We do not make reimbursements for paid registrations.

What happens if my child starts to cry?

Remember that your child will be exposed to a new environment.

Our instructors are trained to calm and comfort your child providing a fun and safety experience where they can develop at their own pace and learn.

Can I wait for my child at the facility?

Yes, in fact you must remain in our facility if your child is attending to a lesson. We have an air conditioned waiting area and free wireless while enjoying a snack, beverage or just watching TV.

What do I need to bring to the lesson?

Towel, goggles, AcquaWorld’s swimming cap (available in our AcquaShop) and proper shoes and swimwear.

How do I pay the lessons?

You must make the payment of the classes within the first 3 days of each month by credit card, check or cash.

There is a fee of $15 per return check. There is a fee of $10 per payment after the 3 rd day of each month.

If you are suspending your lessons for vacation or travel, please inform to our staff members 15 days prior to the payment date and we can put on hold your monthly tuition and reschedule the lessons at your return depending on availability of days and time.

There is no reimbursement for programs or paid classes that have been collected without the notice of cancelation. Either way you will maintain a credit for the amount paid that you could use for up to two months after you have notified the suspension. Credit does not apply to registrations or memberships.
